PS3 Leaderboard - General Rules
1. It is each members responsibility to read and understand all the PS3Leaderboard rules.

2. PS3 Leaderboard was created for gamers to have a place to find competitive and fair matches. You will find this gaming site to be user friendly and you will also find members that are here for fun and others that are serious gamers.

3. There is absolutely no tolerance for any cheaters whether it is in the game or on the website. Any violators will be banned from this specific site, and all other sites on the PS3 Media Network.

4. To avoid fake teams created for free wins(boosting), an IP tracker is in place to report any such cheating to an Administrator. YOU ARE ALLOWED ONE USER ACCOUNT AT PS3LB. All Administrators have the authority to ban any member if they are under the impression that the member is cheating.

5. The forum rules can be found on the forum website, http://www.ps3multiplayer.com/ and these Leaderboard rules apply there as well. If you have any questions about the rules, please contact an Administrator.

6. Any type of repeated abuse of another member is prohibited, including spamming (abuse of electronic messaging) BUT anything regarding RACIAL or ETHNIC comments on both PS3 Leaderboard and on the forum, PS3 Multiplayer. Any violations of this rule may result in a ban, so please act in a responsible manner.

7. Any abuse of a Staff member is also prohibited and will be taken very seriously. All staff members are here to help, as they are volunteering their free time to help you. Treat them with respect, and they will be glad to help with any problems you have. Repeated offenses of abuse (More than once) shall be dealt with by the Head of Admin and appropriate action will be taken per individual case.

8. Members of PS3 Leaderboard do not have access to change their usernames or team names. To change these, please submit a ticket to an Administrator and they can help you.

9. All Team Leaders are responsible for the actions of their players. Make sure everyone is in order and following the rules.

10. Advertisements of other gaming sites are another major rule violation and will result in the members suspension at the Forums admin's discretion.

11. No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. - This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments. Also, sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Only link to sites that are for family viewing only.

Rosters

1. All players that want to compete in clan matches MUST be signed up on PS3Leaderboard, and be listed on the roster or ladder using a name that dose NOT belong to someone else. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule, it is every member's responsibility to find a way to be on the roster.

2. Members are only allowed to be on one roster for each ladder at all times, no exceptions. If a member is found playing for two different teams on the same ladder, they are at risk of being banned from PS3 Leaderboard.

3. When listed on the roster, the names under the USER NAME on PS3LB must match the account name when you click on it. If not put in a ticket to have your a account name changed to your team name. THIS IS THE NAME YOU MUST SHOW UP WITH TO FIGHT FOR THAT TEAM ON PS3.

4. Players listed on the roster must have a green check mark next to their name stating that they are eligible to play. What this means is that this specific member has been a part of this team for at least 2 hours and is ready to participate in clan matches. Players with a red X next to their name are not allowed to play in clan matches.

5. Before every clan match is played, it is each team's responsibility to check their roster and their opponent's roster to make sure that every player in that specific match is eligible to play right before the match starts.

6. It is your responsibility to check the rosters before hand and if they are using an ineligible player, you must tell them they need to leave and they must find another player.

7. If the other team needs time to find another player to fill in, they have 15 minutes from the match start time to find that player. Once the match starts any player that loses connection in that round can only be replaced by that same player(for this reason on certain games, the match must be set on invite only so those players can join or hosting team forfeits that map). If 2 or more players that get disconnected and cannot return within 5 minutes from leaving that team forfeits that round of play(must have photo or video proof). Clans have 5 minutes between each round to replace those players and other players in that clan battle with any legal clan members on that roster. If they cannot find enough players to meet the challenge rules the clan forfeits the entire accepted challenge (Call Of Duty ONLY).

7a. (GTA ONLY) Any team that loses 2 or more players automatically forfeits that round of play(Video or picture proof required).

8. If there is a dispute about whether or not a player is eligible, please contact a Referee as soon as possible. To contact them, fill out a ticket requesting a referee or try and add them on the PS3. Referees are found under the Staff page.

Ladders

1. The maximum number of players on a team is 40, this is for TEAM BATTLES ONLY.

2.You must have 3 or more players to send or accept challenges.ie: 3 vs 3 and so on.

2a.This is just for Battlefield Bad Company 2..You must have at least 4 players to accept or send challenges..

3. For doubles team you can have up to 5 members on the on the roster. For singles only 1 is allowed. Any violations of this rule will be subject to deletion from that ladder, and at risk of being banned from PS3 Leaderboard.

4.To become active, every player must be on the roster for at least 2 hours before participating in a clan match.

5. U.S. and E.U. players cannot play on the same ladders because of lag issues. This can result in a forfeit of a match and penalty points on your team. Singles ladders are different, you can play no matter what part of the globe you live in.

5a. If you accidentally join a ladder or notice a team that is not in your region. Immediately send in a ticket to have that team removed.

Challenges

1. To be an official challenge, the correct NUMBER of members must be on that specific team before a challenge can be sent out by one team and accepted by another. All leaders ,co leaders and captains sending or accepting challenges must make sure that they are fighting a legal team at PS3LB. Even in the case of using the blind match finder, a challenge must be placed by one team, and randomly accepted by another. BUT before the official battle begins both teams must have the correct number of members.

2. Two teams CANNOT play each other more than one time in a 48-hour period. But they CANNOT PLAY against the same team more than 4 times in a SEASON.

3. Once a challenge is accepted, that match cannot be canceled. If however both teams agree to cancel a match, each leader needs to submit a ticket explaining why it was canceled and stating both teams agree to cancel it.

4. When a challenge is accepted, the match settings are FINAL. There is to be no other agreements between teams/members to change or bend PS3 Leaderboard rules in any way. Rules can be found on each ladder page under 'Rules.'

Matches

1. Matches will either be played in the Best of 3 series or the Best of 5 series of rounds. The only exception to this rule is the Madden NFL, which will only be 1 exhibition game, AND OTHER GAMES LISTED HERE. Games must be played until the very end, unless the teams agreed to postpone or cancel the matches ahead of time.

2. If there is a dispute of who hosts the match, the higher ranked team will be the host and the lowest ranked team will host the remainder matches, BUT it is up to the two teams to agree which person has the best connection so it is fair to all players.

3. If the override game mode is used, then clans must play by that game mode. If a challenge is used with the Random game mode turned on, then whatever game mode is shown is the mode that will be played.

4. Two teams can not agree to change what mode or maps they want to play. Each team is to follow the rules of each ladder.

5. A Lag Test MUST be performed before the start of the clan match. This is used to make sure the connection is acceptable between the two teams and there are not any major lag issues. If the lag in the room is horrible, both teams must find a better host to play the match on. If both teams agree that the lag is too much to play the battle no matter who is hosting, both teams must fill out a ticket agreeing to cancel the match due to lag issues. 5a. In modern warfare 2,the lag test must be played under team deathmatch or free-for-all..No other game mode are allowed. 5b. In Black Ops the lag test must be played under Nuketown free-for-all..No other game mode/map is allowed.

6. Between rounds there is a 5 minute period where teams can sub in players or take some time to go over strategy. There will be no more than 5 minutes granted to a team.

7. If a player drops from the initial launch of the game, the game must be immediately stopped. If however the game starts and there has been a kill in the game and then the player disconnects, the game must be played until the end. That player may be re invited to the game and participate when they get back in. Exception is in GTA if the player returns on a different color team his own team can NOT kill him to increase their score to claim a WIN, if MORE than one player leaves the match due to internet problems at the same time on the same team that team will forfeit that round of play.

8. If the game has started and the host disconnects right away, the round must be replayed with a different host. If the game starts and a kill has already taken place and then the host drops, the other team will win the round unless the other team agrees to start the game over again. Exception is in GTA IV if the host disconnected and the match continues to play but two players from the hosting team leave they will forfit that round BUT if opponents from the other team also leave the match it will be counted as a -No-Match- and the round must be replayed.

9. Spectators are always off unless the spectator is a REFEREE.

10. If you or one of your friends join an official leaderboard match. You or one of your friends have 30 seconds to leave or its a forefit of that round. You can quickly leave by holding the PS3 button on the controller and select 'Quit Game.'

11. If a player leaves and the team is short one player, they must find a replacement in the 5 minute time period after that round of play between matches. If they cannot find a team member for a replacement the opposing team can ask them for a forfeit or allow the other team to play short a member or members down. BUT in a TEAM BATTLE in the game mode team death match the team with lower members could have an advantage with more targets to fire upon in this situation the with more members can even the odds by removing players if they wish to be a fair team.

12. If a player LEAVES the map area by going in the water or over the water by flying or on a bridge when it shows that player is NO longer on the challenge match area that team will forfeit that round of play the same applies for hiding or fighting from GLITCHES . TAKE PICTURES.

13. If a team or player RUNS away from the other team or player this is ok, BUT DO NOT HOLD UP THE GAME TO THE POINT WHERE A JUDGE REFEREE COULD RULE THAT this team or player is INTERFERING WITH ONLINE INTERNET GAME PLAY. (This includes REPEATEDLY killing oneself to avoid opposing team getting kills)

14. Use of controllers that give the gamer an unfair advantage in the game such as turbo controllers are not permitted.

15.No camping..This means that if you are sitting in one spot for over 15 minutes and the opposing team keeps trying to kill you but cant..Also hiding in one spot and you are not playing the game..this is a forfeit of that round.

Tournaments

1. If you add a player at the end of the season(2 weeks or less left in the season), and you are in the season ending tournament, that member is not allowed to play in the tournament.

2. No downloaded map packs are to be used in any tournament unless staff say otherwise.

3. In the tournaments you must have at least 4 players and a maximum of 8 players to play.

4. Same rules are to be followed for the ladder you are playing on for the playoff.

5. Playoffs are best out of 5 rounds. This means the winning team must win 3 rounds out of 5. Alternate hosts between rounds, the final round is to be decided by the best four rounds. If there is any dispute in the host for the final round, the match will be postponed until a referee is present. Referee's are recommended for all playoff matches to ensure a smooth playoff process.

No Shows

1. A team has 15 minutes after the scheduled match starting time to play.

2. If a team does not show up after the 15 minutes, the match will result in a forfeit. If the team waiting does NOT wish to reschedule the battle.

3. To get the win for a forfeit, a ticket must be sent in after the scheduled match time stating that your opponent never showed up. Also, you must go ahead and report a win for your team.

4. If there is a dispute with the 15-minute rule, please contact a Referee.

Reporting

1. After a match is played, it is both teams responsibility to report the result. Only one team needs to report the result, whether it is the winning team or the losing team.

2. If there are any problems with the match and both teams are unsure what to report, please send in a ticket about the problem.

3. If your team lost the match and reported the win, then your clan will be subject to *PENALTY POINTS* or deletion and be in risk of being banned.

4. If you report a win when your team lost multiple times, your team will be banned from the PS3 Leaderboard. Also if your team reports a win before the starting match time, your team will be subject to bans as well.

5. Submitting a fraudulent ticket to Leaderboard staff to claim a false win, no-show etc when you are aware that your team is the losing party. This is classed as cheating on this site, and could carry a deduction of *PENALTY POINTS*/XP points. With the amount removed at the discretion of the ADMIN staff.

Tickets & Disputes

1. All tickets are handled in the order that they are received.

2. After you fill out a ticket, do not send more tickets asking the status of the ticket that you sent in. All tickets will be dealt with in order of received and they will be answered as soon as possible.

3. When submitting a ticket, make sure you read it over and it is understandable. All tickets that are unclear will be closed and dismissed.

4. All administrator decisions are final, but if more evidence comes up then go ahead and send it in another ticket.

5. If your team has put in for a match dispute please be accessible within the following 72 hours to have your match dispute resolved or the decision may go to the other team.

6. At PS3LB 99% of all disputes are handled in the ticket center. YOU OR SOMEONE ON YOUR TEAM WILL NEED A CAMERA OR VIDEO RECORDER TO UPLOAD PROOF IN THE TICKET.

7. All proof needs to have the ENTIRE screen shot with all member names visible to be accepted as valid proof.

Cheating

2. Any outside communication that is not provided in the game is prohibited. 3. Cheating in the game, also known as Glitching is prohibited as well.

4. To report any cheating or abuse that you see from other clans, please fill out a support ticket and an Administrator will deal with it accordingly.

Proof

1. If a match is disputed, then there will need to be proof shown to the Administrators showing why your team should be granted the win.

2. If you have a picture or video of the match, the file MUST be uploaded to http://www.ps3videos.com/ or any other web file host http://tinypic.com, http://photobucket.com, or http://www.putfile.com, or http://www.youtube.com.

3. All conversations that take place are not considered proof.

4. If you are trying to prove that the other clan has cheated, the team is innocent until proven guilty so you must have valid proof to back your claim.

THE CROWN

2. In order to retain the crown you must defend the crown once every seven days.
